We're inviting students to participate in our Monster Movie Project! Kids (ages 6-12) will help design robots for the monsters and special effects, use stop motion, green screen editing, and AI-generated video and music.
Lessons will be conducted in small groups and are self-contained lessons, so students can join even if they attend just one session. Each child will be invited to 1–3 sessions, depending on the number of survey responses. At the end, we hope to host a family screening of the movie, with all participants listed in the credits!
Students will explore:
Designing 4-bar linkages from scratch
Building rack and pinion systems, gear trains, and compound gears
Hands-on STEM activities and kid-friendly chemistry
Coding
Electricity and circuits
